Milwaukee 2020 Democratic National Convention

Milwaukee 2020 Democratic National Convention
March 11, 2019, the D.N.C. Chairman, Tom Perez announced that Milwaukee was selected as the host city for the Democratic National Convention, to be held July 13- 16, 2020.  Milwaukee beat out other finalist cities including Denver, Colorado (later withdrew), Houston, Texas and Miami, Florida.  Milwaukee has never previously hosted the Democratic National Convention. As an important city in an important state and region, Milwaukee is a timely and exciting choice.  Approximately, 50,000 people are expected to attend the convention.  This includes not only the delegates but donors and media.

We are excited to see the impact that this has on the local region, as well as the vision as the Democratic Party formally nominates their party’s nominee for President and Vice President of the United States for the 2020 election.
